Being in the first (1st) Position does not necessarily equate to being the best, or even the most reputable. It simply means they are spending a lot of money to be there. We believe in making customers for life, not the life of a contract. Many large companies have teams of sales people in which they believe that their job is done once you fax back that signed Proposal. To us, that’s when our job begins. We employ "Campain Managers" because they will set up your accounts and manage your campaigns. At Keyword Mktg, Inc we do not hire sales people. You will be assigned a Campaign Manager and he or she will remain your Campaign Manager. A Senior Campaign Manager will also then become familiar and fluent with your account(s) in order to monitor their progress and manage them after hours and on holidays and weekends. You will also be able to contact your Campaign Manager via email after hours (depending on your time zome) should you need to, as they are required to check their emails weeknights at 9pm in order to ensure their West Coast clients have not tried to contact them during their business hours. And the Senior Campaign Managers monitor their emails regularly after hours, on weekends and on holidays, to ensure that no emergency ends up having to wait until the next business day.
Because we have not spent our focus on making the biggest buck as quick as possible we have made long lasting business relationships by honestly and effectively providing an invaluable service to companies and people when and how they needed it. We do not pressure our clients in to spending more money by telling them that they should be in 1st position on every word in order to have the most success. In other words, we will not lie to you, we will find the best and most creative solutions to maximizing your budget in order to get you the most out of what you have to work with. 1st is not always the best, and it very well may be that it is not the best for YOU!
It is not uncommon for us to still field questions and give advice to clients we had several years ago that we set up their Accounts and Campaigns for and/or trained them to manage, because as a company grows their needs and goals change, as well as the way their accounts need to be managed. That being said, it is also not uncommon for those clients to call us well after we have set them up and trained them to hire us back on to manage their accounts because it is more cost-effective and reliable to have us manage their accounts than to have to find someone to hire on to their staff.
An employee can decide if he or she no longer wants to do that type of work, or can become sick and not be able to work for a week, and may very well not care enough to make sure throughout the nights, weekends and holidays that your ads are still live because maybe their Primary Credit Card and Back-Up Card were both declined and now their ads are in jeopardy of being taken offline. Say that were to happen on the night before Thanksgiving, then Thanksgiving Day your accounts, along with your ads, went offline? Steven, who works for a nominal salary is with his family enjoying a full stomach and watching the game on TV, unaware that his company's Ads are not being seen. Friday comes and goes and Monday morning he strolls into work to a barrage of questions and furious people wondering why they had almost no leads generated, or sales made, over the holiday weekend. He has no idea until he turns on his computer and checks the accounts, only to find that they have been suspended for non-payment.
This is not an uncommon occurrence. Credit Card companies have become very fickle. There are now Fraud Protection measures in place that will often cause a card, that has plenty of credit on it, to decline. Things such as an unexpected high dollar amount charge, or a reoccurring charge that is charging at irregular intervals. We always get an emergency contact number from our point of contact, and this is one of the main reasons. Should the above situation happen (and it has happened), we call our point of contact whom we work very closely with and we are able to resolve the situation. And if it can not be resolved (say every other Credit Card number given has the same Fraud Protection measure triggered, or no one can be reached at the credit card company, than you are atleast aware of the situation and it is something that can be worked on, and a gameplan made for and resolved as soon as possible…not as soon as realized, on Monday morning when you then need to start trouble-shooting the issue.
That’s just one of many examples of what can go wrong “after hours”, and it can be avoided. So enjoy your weekends, and your time at home, or even spend some of it doing work that you need to get done and couldn’t finish during the your regular work hours, because we all know that if there were more hours in the day…we would just have more work to do. But don’t spend it double-checking, or worrying about whether or not something that someone else is responsible for is being done properly or being taken care of as it should. You have enough to worry about.
